Brotherhood provides an ideal way for the men in our congregation to get to know each other and to get involved in many aspects of Temple life. We strive to provide a balance of spiritual, educational, and social programs along with our the support we give our Temple, both with manpower and financial support.

Brotherhood actively supports the Jewish Chautauqua Society which helps fight anti-Semitism through educational activities. You are invited to join in fun and learning with Brotherhood. We support the National organization Men of Reform Judaism with dues and adherence to many of it’s programs and initiatives.

We welcome all men of our Temple to join us in any of our wonderful programs, They are as varied as our Annual Men’s Retreat, Summer Barbeque, Brotherhood Shabbat Service, or Sunday Breakfasts. We serve as Ushers for the High Holy Days, assuring our congregants of an efficient and safe flow for our multiple services. We support our Youth Groups and Religious School children, both financially and by doing things like preparing Latkes for them to enjoy during Hanukkah. The men of Brotherhood take dozens of children each year on Midnight Runs, giving them a unique, very meaningful Community Service opportunity. Brotherhood provides opportunities for Temple families to get out and have fun, with rafting trips, major and minor league sports events, and our popular hot dog stands at special Temple events.

Brotherhood strives to have all men of the Congregation join us and get to enjoy the many wonderful activities Temple Israel has to offer.
