Around the Shabbat Table consists of weekly family discussion starters and Dvar Torah especially written for families with religious school students in grades 7 - 10. They are written by a team of rabbis and educators from the Nassau county area and by Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York staff members. Family Shabbat discussion guides are sent weekly via e mail. You can subscribe or read them online.
The Blessings: Listen to or download audio recordings of Shabbat blessings from erev Shabbat (Friday evening) candlelighting to the Havdalah blessings which conclude Shabbat along with texts of the blessings in Hebrew and transliteration as well as English.
