Directions to Temple Israel - 31 Glengary Road, Croton On Hudson, NY

From the North

  • Take Route 9 South. Take exit marked Route 129. Make a left at the end of the exit ramp.
  • Go one block straight beyond traffic light. At second traffic light, make left onto 129 (Maple Avenue).
  • Make a left from 129 (Maple) onto Old Post Road. You can go only one block. Make a right at light onto Grand Street.
  • Take next left from Grand Street onto Mount Airy Road. Continue up hill and to the left at the top of the hill (remaining on Mount Airy Road).
  • Take second left onto Glengary Road (the Temple Israel sign is hanging on the corner of Mount Airy and Glengary Road).
  • Follow Glengary Road to the end, you will see the Temple in front of you. Follow signs for parking.

From the South

  • Take Saw Mill River Parkway North, get off at Exit 26, Taconic Parkway North (or take Sprain Brook Parkway North, which becomes Taconic Parkway North).
  • Take Taconic Parkway North approximately 1.5 miles and take Exit 9A/100 North (the exit after Pleasantville/Route 117 exit).
  • Follow signs to 9A North. Route 9A joins Route 9 just before the Croton River Bridge.
  • Take second exit after bridge, marked Route 129. Make a right at the end of the exit ramp.
  • Continue one block straight beyond traffic light. At second traffic light, make left onto 129 (Maple Avenue).
  • Make a left from 129 (Maple) onto Old Post Road. You can go only one block. Make a right at light onto Grand Street.
  • Take next left from Grand Street onto Mount Airy Road South. Continue up hill and to the left at the top of the hill (remaining on Mount Airy Road South).
  • Take second left onto Glengary Road (the Temple Israel sign is hanging on the corner of Mount Airy South and Glengary Road).
  • Follow Glengary Road to the end, you will see the Temple in front of you. Follow signs for parking.

From the East (Yorktown)

  • From Underhill Avenue, make a right onto Route 129.
  • After you cross the Croton Reservoir, continue approximately 0.5 miles and turn right onto Mount Airy Road East (fork on the right) and continue to the top of the hill (approximately 1.1 miles).
  • At the 3-way stop (Purdy's Corners) on Mount Airy Road East, turn left to continue on Mount Airy Road South.
  • Continue about one mile to Glengary Road. Turn right onto Glengary Road (the Temple Israel sign is hanging on the corner of Mount Airy South and Glengary Road).
  • Follow Glengary Road to the end, you will see the Temple in front of you. Follow signs for parking.

From Long Island & Brooklyn

First Route from Long Island & Brooklyn

  • Take Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River ParkwayNorth.
  • Take Hutchinson River Parkway North to Cross County Parkway West.
  • Take Cross County Parkway West to Sprain Brook Parkway North.
  • Sprain Brook Parkway North turns into Taconic Parkway North.
  • Take Taconic Parkway North approximately 1.5 miles and take Exit 9A/100 North.

  • Take Triborough Bridge to Cross Bronx Expressway West.
  • Take Cross Bronx Expressway West to Henry Hudson Parkway North.
  • Henry Hudson Parkway North turns into Saw Mill River Parkway at the Westchester/NYC border.
  • Take exit 26, Taconic Parkway North.

  • Take Route 84 West to Route 684 South.
  • Take Exit 6 (Route 35 West) from Route 684 South.
  • Take Route 35 West to Route 100 South.
  • Continue about four miles on Route 100 South to Route 118. Make a right turn onto Route 118.
  • Take Route 118 until it becomes Route 129 (no turns).
  • After you cross the Croton Reservoir, continue approximately 0.5 miles and turn right onto Mount Airy Road East (fork on the right) and continue to the top of the hill (approximately 1.1 miles).
  • (From Route 100 to Mount Airy Road East is approximately 6.1 miles).
  • At the 3-way stop (Purdy's Corners) on Mount Airy Road East, turn left to continue on Mount Airy Road South.
  • Continue about one mile to Glengary Road. Turn right onto Glengary Road (the Temple Israel sign is hanging on the corner of Mount Airy and Glengary Road).
