Education Committee
Education committee
The Education Committee supports the Director of Education and the CJL faculty. We strive to ensure that Temple Israel's youth programs and Center for Jewish Learning (CJL) continue to offer relevant, meaningful, and appropriate curriculum and programming.
The committee meets regularly to plan and support special programming and events, to discuss purpose and expectations for each grade, and to offer suggestions and guidance regarding educational policies. We work to increase enrollment in our programs and to promote fundraising to support the budget. The Education Committee also develops special opportunities for family engagement with our students as part of the CJL experience.
If you are interested in joining our committee's important work insuring that our youth receive the best (and most enjoyable) Jewish education possible, please reach out to Ben Wiesen, committee chairperson.
