Building Committee

The Building Committee maintains and improves our sacred home.  Inside and outside, we strive to honor our Temple through a vigilant program of maintenance, while looking toward our future needs and aspirations.

Over the last five years, we have accomplished many improvements here at Temple Israel.

Examples of exterior projects include:

• Building a new playground
• Installing uniform signage
• Repaving / resurfacing parking lots and adding drainage
• Refurbishing sections of the building envelope, and painting the building exterior
• Installing closed circuit video / security system and security doors
• Adding new landscaping

Examples of interior projects include:

• Upgrading a space into a Community Room
• Creating a Conference Room
• Installing new sound equipment in the Sanctuary and Oneg Room
• Laying new carpeting and vinyl flooring
• Acquiring and installing new artwork
