Temple Israel of Northern Westchester offers a multitude of Adult Offerings throughout the year. Based on the congregations’ interests, each year our calendar may include having guest scholars and speakers address the congregation during Friday night services, weekday evenings or Sunday mornings, and multi-series classes on topics such as the history of Israel and exploring Israel through Israeli culture. Past guest speakers including human rights activist and philanthropist Elisha Wiesel and writer and editor Mark Oppenheimer. We also have a weekly Torah study group which is led by Rabbi Polish and other guest scholars. Our Temple Israel Brotherhood and Sisterhood also offer Adult Education offerings with diverse topics, ranging from Jewish themes in popular culture, a history of Jews at West Point and a conversation with a Jewish member of the New York Board of Regents.
