Center for Jewish Learning (CJL)
not your parent's hebrew school
Our Center for Jewish Learning (CJL) is a hub of activity in which our students actively engage in the learning process. Our K-7th grade offers a spiraled Judaica curriculum with each grade expanding and advancing the content and skills gained in the previous year. At the CJL, children may get a chance to experience the following:
- Putting Jonah on trial as to whether he was a good prophet
- Learning how to be a mensch
- Participating in video conferences with schools in Israel with children of similar ages
- Participating in a mock Jewish wedding
- Student v. faculty/clergy Ga-Ga (Israeli game) tournament
A fresh, dynamic classroom experience is augmented with thoughtful off-campus trips to heighten learnings and allow our teachers to explore with our students. .
