Baby Namings & Weddings
jewish celebrations
Our clergy and staff are always available to help you honor all of your Jewish life cycle events. Temple Israel provides a warm and welcoming environment to celebrate any special moment.
Brit Milah & Baby Naming
We look forward to providing brit milah and baby naming ceremonies at TINW. Rabbi Jaech and our staff are great resources to help you navigate the process- everything from finding a certified mohel/mohelet, to arranging honors for various family members, to planning a party in our sunlit community space.
Additionally, we can welcome a new baby into the covenant of the Jewish people at our Friday night services with a special blessing and an oneg afterward in honor of the simcha. Some families prefer to hold the ceremony at home or another location, and we are happy to chat with you to give you information on arranging local alternatives.
Weddings
Rabbi Jaech officiates at our congregants' weddings and she will work with each couple to craft a Jewish wedding ceremony that is personal and meaningful for the couple and their families. She presides over all weddings in our community where a couple desires to establish a Jewish home and is honored to participate in weddings for couples looking for traditional, interfaith or same sex ceremonies to mark this special lifecycle event uniting two families.
