The ever-entertaining Marty Schneit returns to take you on a trip down Memory Lane to visit NYC's Lower East Side.

From the comforts of our plush chairs take a trip to The Lower East Side and visit Schimmel’s Knishes, Katz’s Deli, Anshe Chesed, The Romanites, Daily Forward, Eldridge Street Synagogue, First Roumanian-American Congregation.   Marty will talk about Rabbi Eisenberg, one of the few remaining Torah scribes remaining in The Lower East Side. Listen to a number of stories and tidbits about some of the great people who lived on The Lower East Side-Irving Berlin, Eddie Cantor and George Burns.  Marty Schneit will take us on a wonderful adventure back in time.

The 92nd Street Y, The Health Outreach Program of New York Presbyterian Hospital, Central Synagogue, Hebrew Home for the Aged at Riverdale, The Ziegfeld Society of New York, the patients at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan, the Lincoln Center Campus of Fordham University.  The Jewish Braille Institute has recorded Marty's lectures for their audio magazine and lecture series.
