A joint Brotherhood/Sisterhood Event!

How about a movie starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Edward G. Robinson and the great Lionel Barrymore directed by the legendary John Huston?  You’ve got them all in “Key Largo”! 

Bogart is just out of the WWII army and is making a trip to the Florida Keys to meet the wife and father of his best friend, killed beside him during the war. But when he gets there, he finds that the small hotel they run has been taken over by a bunch of mobsters led by Edward G. Robinson. The great story of Key Largo is how Bogart warms to his late friend’s family while struggling to determine what his role should be in confronting this mob and freeing that family.

It’s a love story, a mob picture, and an action drama all in one. This is perhaps the most satisfying of the movies Bacall and Bogart made together, done just a couple of years into their marriage.
