Israel is the only state in the world with a majority Jewish population, yet there is much we may not know about its complicated history and present-day challenges. Join Professor Nancy Koppelman as she leads us toward a better understanding of Israel and its neighbors. This five-part virtual series will be moderated by Rabbi Jaech and will include opportunities for questions and discussion. Professor Nancy Koppelman (The Evergreen State College) holds a three-year appointment as Visiting Research Scholar with the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies at Brandeis University, where she was a faculty fellow in 2019.
