Adult Ed: Understanding Israel program presented by Professor Nancy Koppelman

7:30 PM - 8:30 PMIsrael is the only state in the world with a majority Jewish population, yet there is much we may not know about its complicated history and present-day challenges. Join Professor Nancy Koppelman as she leads us toward a better understanding of Israel and its neighbors. This five-part virtual series will be moderated by Rabbi Jaech and will include opportunities for questions and discussion. Professor Nancy Koppelman (The Evergreen State College) holds a three-year appointment as Visiting Research Scholar with the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies at Brandeis University, where she was a faculty fellow in 2019. This is a 5 part series: (January 11, January 25, February 8), February 22, and March 8. Each presentation will be recorded and made available upon request for one week after the date of the session.

Please join us to help address homelessness in Westchester by volunteering for a build event. This is a great opportunity for our teens to participate in some very important community service and earn community service credits. Please note that teens should be accompanied by an adult.
