Summary |
I am looking forward to our food pantry trip where the children learn first hand about the joy of giving Tzedakah and of performing Gemiloot Hasadim,( Acts of Loving Kindness). We will meet at the Pleasantville Pantry at 9:30 at 70 Bedford Road Pleasantville NY 10570.
Helena asked particularly for cans of tuna or chicken, canned tomatoes, canned fruit or instant coffee. The children can bring three cans or instant coffee to donate before the tour.
This is a family event so please plan to stay with the children. We do not go to temple first or afterwards.
IMPORTANT REMINDER;
Put Kitta Bet Friday Night service on your calendar if you have not already done so. We will have a potluck at 5:45 first which is always fun. Roberta will be sending a potluck sign up in the near future.
See you Sunday!
I hope everyone found Mitzvah day fun and meaningful!!
