Dear Families,
Today we completed the components of our Shabbat Box and decorated it. It's now ready for the students to take turns taking the box home when we return to CJL after the break.
Our students wrote instructions for you for using the box at home. Heads up: Please make sure to return the box each week so that another student can take it home. We're also asking you to send me a photo or two of your family celebrating Shabbat.
We ended the day with a special Hebrew Yoga session followed by Hebrew Through Movement. We enjoyed both sessions, and I've attached several photos of our students turning their bodies into Hebrew letters. Please ask your child to tell you what he/she remembers about the experience.
Have a wonderful break. I'll see you all Jan. 6.
