Dear parents,
This week we reviewed the stories from the creation to the story of Noah. We will fucose on the stories of our people from Abraham to the exodus story., each week we will read one story and discusses what can we learn from those stories that is applicable to our life today.
In Hebrew we found out that we only have 22 letters and some of the letter are written differently if the appear in the beginning or in the end of a word. This week we learned 3 letters Bet, Tav and Shin. We practiced reading our Hebrew reading book. We played reading games and reviewed the Hebrew vocabulary we learned so far. Our Hebrew homework will be on line here are the instructions:

We will be discussing the book called The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali. It is a novel about the deep and complicated friendship of two Iranian women during pre- and post-revolution Iran. We will be meeting at a congregant's home and share a Pot Luck dinner. -
