Brotherhood Breakfast Series Featuring the Israeli Defense Forces-Zoom
Sunday, October 24, 2021 • 18 Cheshvan 5782
10:00 AM - 11:00 AMZoomThe Temple Israel Brotherhood is very pleased to welcome the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as our Special Guests for our Brotherhood Breakfast on October 24th, Zooming to us direct from Israel. Change and challenge is ever present in the Mideast, but amid all that uncertainty, one constant since Israel’s independence in 1948 has been the IDF. The IDF's mission is to protect Israel's independence and thwart attempts by its enemies to disrupt the normal life. It is one of the most prominent institutions in Israeli society with almost every Israeli citizen over the age of 18 who is Jewish, Druze or Circassian required to serve in the IDF. Its conscription of women since its formation is unique among the world's militaries. Our Zoom meeting on October 24th will provide Temple Israel brotherhood the opportunity to learn more about how IDF operates today and what it confronts as it faces shifting Mideast dynamics. We look forward to visiting with the IDF and discussing their world with them. Temple Israel Brotherhood thanks Tzahal Shalom, which has been connecting Northern Westchester to Israel since 2006, for their great help in making our morning with the IDF possible. Please register as soon as you can.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
