In celebration of Israel's 75th birthday, we will learn and explore Israel through the lens of contemporary Israeli culture. Oren Neiman, a CJL Faculty member, accomplished educator and musician, will use examples from Israeli literature, music, and film to demonstrate how they reflect Israeli culture and Hebrew as a living developing language. If you are a fan of Shtisel, Unorthodox, Fauda, Israeli food, and Jewish comedy, then this course is for you! Four (4) sessions weekly from Thursday, April 19 - May 10 A light lunch will be served after each session.
