Two huge benefits came with Karen Bergreen's decision to leave behind a budding career as a corporate lawyer ... one less lawyer and one more fine comedienne. A rising star on the New York comedy scene, Karen is quickly becoming recognized for her quirky persona and sharp intellect throughout the country. In a relatively short time, Karen has earned invitations to perform at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen Colorado (twice), The Friars Club in New York City and The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Karen has also performed her stand up on television on Comedy Central's “Premium Blend, ”New Joke City with Robert Klein and Gotham Comedy Live! As an actress, Karen has been seen on a variety of commercials, independent films and NBC's Law & Order. Off-Broadway, Karen was a regular revolving cast member in the hit show, “The J.A.P. Show.” Don’t miss the chance to see this very funny woman in action!
A prolific monologist with universal appeal, Jon Fisch focuses on the idiosyncrasies of city living. After moving to NYC from his native Boston, he was chosen as one of Comedy Central's "Fresh Faces of Comedy" and named one of Back Stage Magazine's "10 Standout Stand-ups". Jon was a critical favorite at the prestigious Montreal “Just for Laughs" Comedy Festival as part of the "New Faces" showcase and the Club Series show "Dating It". Following his impressive appearances, Jon was singled out by both the Hollywood Reporter and the Montreal Gazette as a "standout performer." Jon's appearances on CBS’ “The Late Show with David Letterman,” NBC’s “Last Comic Standing 4,” (where he was the New York City Capital One Audience Favorite), and, most recently, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert have gained him wide recognition and a new legion of fans. Jon tours the country performing at theaters, clubs, colleges and corporate events and can be seen regularly in NYC at Gotham Comedy Club and The Comedy Cellar.
Born and raised in Paterson New Jersey, Rodney Laney’s comedy career started capriciously in 1988. While in the Air Force, stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio, he accompanied a fellow airman, an amateur comic, to a comedy club. His friend bombed, but Rod took the stage and received thunderous applause. It was instant addiction. Rodney has since gone on to kill ‘em in clubs from New York to California. In New York City, Rodney is regular at all the best clubs including Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club, Stand Up New York, and Carolines On Broadway. On television, Rodney has been seen on many shows including most recently HBO’s “Bad Boys of Comedy,” CBS’ “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend and TBS’s “Just For Laughs Chicago.” Look for more high profile appearances in the very near future and beyond from this funny, dynamic performer.
