Shabbat Shuvah
Friday, September 10, 2021 • 4 Tishrei 5782
7:00 PM - 8:00 PMTINW SanctuaryThe Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur features special prayers that help us connect to this time of new beginnings and repentance. This service will feature a speaker who will share with us a personal story about forgiveness.
If you could revisit and reconcile a 40-year-old trauma, would you do it? Guy Felixbrodt, former director of our CJL, will speak about the car crash that injured him and killed his father and sister decades ago. This past spring, Guy returned to Israel to search for the driver of the truck in the accident. Guy will speak about the challenges of the journey of compassion and forgiveness he has undertaken.
For the services held within the Sanctuary, we ask that all attendees are vaccinated, masked and socially distanced.
Registration is not required.
