Shavuot Study Program Light Dairy Potluck

In celebration of Shavuot, we will have a dairy potluck supper followed by a Tikkun Leyl Shavuot (study session) led by our scholar-in-residence, David Sperling. The topic will be the Book of Ruth, the Biblical story read on the festival of Shavuot.

Israeli Music in Times of Conflict

In this class, we will focus on different aspects of Israeli culture (Music, Art, Literature, Dance and more). In continuing with last year’s format, each session will focus on a different cultural art form. This year, we will do a deep dive into one cultural piece ( a song, a story, a dance) each session. We will explore the time period and context in which it was created, how this creation affected the cultural moment, and how it reflects Israeli society and culture. Through these cultural pieces, we will deepen our exploration of the complexities of the 21st century state of Israel.

Brotherhood Lecture - How Do We Make Music After Oct. 7th?

Join us for a joyful and peaceful Shabbat morning yoga and contemplative practice. Please join us to help address homelessness in Westchester by volunteering for a build event. This is a great opportunity for our teens to participate in some very important community service and earn community service credits. Please note that teens should be accompanied by an adult.
