Oma and Bella is a blend of documentary, Jewish cooking class and history lesson. Oma & Bella are sweet senior Jewish women who are best friends & living in Berlin. They prepare the meals of our grandmother's generation while providing an intimate glimpse into their childhood and European Jewish life before, during and after World War II. Although the film begins as a day in grandma's kitchen, it ends as so much more.
