What does the Bible say about . . . ?
How do I answer when my child asks . . . ?
Why does religion . . . ?
Our rabbis at Temple Israel of Northern Westchester are always available to field your questions. But maybe you have one or two questions that you thought were not that important, even though they remain in the back of your mind. This is your opportunity! The Temple will host a panel with our rabbis and we want to know what you want to know.
You may direct your questions to a specific rabbi, or to the general panel. Please fill out the form below OR email your question(s) to Tara Keiter BY MAY 25. Interested parties not already on Rabbi Jaech’s Torah Study email blast should register and include their email address here in order to get a link to the session.
Our panel will be held via Zoom during our May 27 Torah Study session, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. You may participate in the Zoom session or, if you are unavailable, you can learn their responses through our weekly blog and/or podcast, which are typically released within 36 hours of the session.
Fielding Your Questions Are:
Rabbi Jennifer Jaech - Senior of Temple Israel since 2006. Prior to entering the clergy, Rabbi Jaech worked in higher education administration, government relations and politics.
Rabbi Wendy Pein - Director of Temple Israel's Congregational Learning since 2016, Rabbi Pein oversees the curriculum and faculty of our CJL, early childhood programs, and adult education programs.
Rabbi David Sperling - Temple Israel's Scholar-in-Residence. Professor Sperling taught Bible for more than 40 years, and earned his Ph.D in Ancient Semitic Languages.
Thank you for your interest. The form is now closed. If you have a burning question or are not on the Torah Study email list and would like the zoom link, please email Tara Keiter.
